Ascertaining use of the Fabric : The Fabric is sorted into two categories: fit for Newborn Baby Kits and fit for up cycling into bags, pouches, mats travel and baby bags.

STAGE – V

Cutting – The washed fabric is cut for making specific articles. This stage is very important in the training process as we teach our trainees the ideal and maximum use of fabric given to them. They learn to use the fabric economically and make best product out of it. They develop creativity and innovation during this process.

STAGE – VI

Stitching – We have manual and motorized sewing machines. Some women also prefer working at home.

STAGE – VII

Button fixing and Finishing – After a garment is stitched, another set of workers completes the task of fixing buttons and does all the necessary finishing.

STAGE – VIII

A ready product in a newborn baby kit is washed thoroughly using a good quality detergent and sun-dried. Other articles are cleaned as per their requirement.

STAGE – IX

Dry clothes are ironed. At this stage the product is checked for any defect or ill stitching. We are specifically very particular about the infant kits as the “Navagat Kit” is our most important product.

STAGE – X

The infant kits are packed almost immediately after being ironed so that the contents can be as clean as possible for use of a newborn baby.

AND FINALLY…

Distribution :- The infant kits are distributed through the government hospitals where women from the poorest section of the society come for delivering their babies.
